Stichting Surfpop

Dolf founded Stichting Surfpop to raise funds for Surfpop Foundation South Africa with the dream to give more children from disadvantaged communities the change for a better life and thus contributing to equality. He holds a Masters Degree in Law from Tilburg University. Since the early eighties he has worked in a range of leading business development positions for prominent international HR consultancies in the Netherlands and the UK, including MeesConsult, Watson Wyatt, Russell Mellon and Aon. Here, he has led multi-disciplinary teams on a wide variety of HR solutions for international companies, such as Philips, Shell, Heineken and Ahold.

Bruno joined Stichting Surfpop with the aim to reach potential sponsors in The Benelux and show them the fantastic job that Surfpop Foundation is doing in helping children from disadvantaged communities obtaining a better future. Bruno has an MBA from the University of Antwerp and has held a variety of management positions at global multinational companies, such as Warner Bros and Wilson Sporting Goods. He assisted in building satellite driven film distribution throughout India. Currently, he is a director of the IT company Taktik specialised in data management, based in Belgium and Texas.

Daniel, being a surf enthusiast, started Surfpop Foundation South Africa with the dream to share his love for surfing and the ocean with at-risk children and youth from disadvantaged communities who do not have the same opportunities as he did while growing up. Daniel has a background in Creative Brand Communications (BA), a wide experience in the tourism industry and a vast local and international network. He is the life and soul behind Surfpop Foundation South Africa and manages and oversees all program activities. He is also the founder and director of the affiliated volunteer and tourism business in South Africa.
